Several thousand Iranians have signed up to go to Gaza on a humanitarian rescue and siege-bust mission, Deputy Chief of Iran-based Society in Defense of Palestinian Nation (SDPN) told a press conference Monday.
Mohammad-Ali Nurani told a press conference on Iran's aid convoy to Gaza held in Quds News Agency office that a website available at www.pngo.ir has been designated to enroll for the mission.
Nourani said the mission staged by the society will set sail for Gaza in the next few weeks.
The aid convoy has modeled public aid convoys once being dispatched to war zone during the Scared Iranian Defense against the western backed Saddam Hussein's invading army.
