Speaking to IRNA on the sidelines of the International Conference of World Publishers (June 20-21) here at Iran National Library on Monday, Professor Ibrahim Othman Ahmed al-Zuma, Head of Sudan Academic and Publication Complex and a lecturer at Sudan Indraman University, called for continued holding of such meetings with an aim to forge convergence among Muslim world publishers.
The academic touched on publication of Islamic works and said tastes of the readers should be taken into consideration.
He hailed the speech of Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the inaugural meeting of the Conference on Sunday and said he echoed wishes and demands of all Muslims.
