President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that he is ready to confer with his US counterpart President Barack Obama on global developments at the upcoming UN General Assembly.
President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian nationals residing abroad.
“I would like to declare my readiness to have a face to face talk in presence of world media with the US president at the United Nations General Assembly to determine who has a better solution for managing the world,” he said.
President Ahmadinejad Said: “Iran calls for talks with the United States based on mutual respect and justice at the highest level,” He added: “We have always been a supporter of logic and dialogue. Iranians have never moved forward with (the help of) sword."
President Ahmadinejad underscored the new management mechanism of the world, which has been monopolized by the West, should be modified and made to allow for the participation of all nations.

Commenting on Iran's nuclear program, the Iranian chief executive slammed the Western powers for the sanctions and accused them of hypocrisy, said: “ they have more than 20,000 atomic bombs altogether and they still fear Iran for not having one."
The president lauded the Iranian culture for its 'limitless capacities' and noted that the West fears Iran's cultural potential which enables the country to reach across to other nations and spread globally.
Their futile attempts indicate that their wrong policies on Iran are doomed to failure and they have found no way to get rid of these problems, the fact is that they have been defeated by humanity and justice, he said.
