Photo by Sheekh Aduun The EU's naval forces have reported in statement that MV Therese VIII, a Singaporean-operated tanker, was seized on Monday by Somali pirates, while heading for Mombasa port in Kenya.
The MV Theresa VIII, registered in the U.S. Virgin Islands is loaded with 22,294 tones of goods. Somali pirates are currently holding10 ships and 200 hostages in the waters of Somalia.
