Egypt : First Draft of the Constitution to Be Reconsidered

Members of the drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly (CA) have agreed on 21/10/2012 to reconsider the first draft constitution in full and to put into account the suggestions made by political powers.

The committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday 23/10/2012 to review the first draft of the new constitution to discuss all controversial articles.

Meanwhile, head of the CA drafting committee Mohamed Mahsoub announced that the committee has accomplished the first reading of the draft of the new constitution.
