Zimbabwe will host the first ever All Africa Olympia Bodybuilding competition, which is expected to be held at the Harare International Conference Centre next month.

Zimbabwe bodybuilders are looking forward to competing against Africa's finest at the competition on Nov. 17. They are in the midst of an intensive preparation regime in a bid to make a positive impression at the bodybuilding contest, which will parade the cream of the crop from across the continent.

Three local bodybuilders who will vie for ascendancy at the competition, Victor Hungwe, Vincent Kandiero and Simba Dube are relishing the prospect of competing against some of the most distinguished bodybuilders from across Africa.

The All Africa Olympia Bodybuilding contest, which has the highest prize money for any competition ever staged in Africa has attracted participants from as far afield as Cote d'Ivoire, Mauritius, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, Zambia and South Africa.

The overall winner of the bodybuilding showpiece will walk away awith cool 9,000 US dollars.
