At least four people, including two police officers, have been killed in a car bomb explosion in the Kenyan capital.
Police said the bomb detonated on Wednesday outside a police station in a poor neighborhood of Nairobi.
"At least four people died after a saloon exploded at Pangani police station. Two of them are police officers," the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Officials said police had earlier stopped the vehicle at a traffic light in the area.
Police officers were in the process of escorting the occupants to the Pangani police station when the bomb exploded.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. But, police say the neighborhood is a Somali populated shanty town, which witnessed similar attacks in the past.
Kenya has suffered several bomb attacks in recent months.
In September last year, a militant attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi killed at least 67 people.
