Egyptian protesters have taken to the streets to condemn Israeli atrocities in the besieged Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, the demonstrators in the capital Cairo called for putting an end to Israeli assaults on Gazans and lifting the tight blockade on the coastal enclave.
They criticized the government of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for its lack of support for Palestinians.
The protesters also chanted slogans against normalization of ties with Israel.
The anti-Israel protest comes as Tel Aviv continues to pound the Gaza Strip for the sixth straight day. According to the latest reports, at least 170 people have lost their lives in Gaza since Tuesday when the Israeli attacks began.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the Tel Aviv regime will not stop its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
According to latest reports, troops of the Israeli regime entered the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military has called up thousands of reservists for an all-out invasion of the impoverished territory.
Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has warned that it is prepared to hit back at Israeli forces, should the Tel Aviv regime launch a ground attack against Gaza.
A previous eight-day Israeli offensive on the coastal enclave, which ended on November 21, 2012, claimed the lives of more than 160 Palestinians, including women and children. About 1,200 others were injured.
Gaza has been blockaded since June 2007. The blockade has caused a decline in the standards of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.
