Egypt has enacted a new rule that bars its citizens from traveling to Turkey without a permit, to prevent them from joining the ISIL Takfiri terrorists operating in Iraq and Syria.

According to Egypt’s airport officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Egyptians between the ages of 18 and 40 now need to apply for security clearance in the capital, Cairo, before leaving for Turkey.

Authorities have reportedly barred over 200 people from travelling to Turkey in only one day.

Interior Ministry spokesman Hany Abdel-Latif said the new restriction is aimed at preventing Egyptians from joining militant groups in Syria through Turkey.

Turkey has time and time again been accused of backing ISIL terrorists in Syria.

Meanwhile, a large number of foreign passports recovered from terrorists killed during Syrian army operations show that many of the ISIL militants in Syria had traveled from Libya, Chechnya, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Belgium and France.

Turkey is blocking military and humanitarian supplies from being moved across its border to Syria where ISIL is continuing its efforts to take the northern Syrian city of Kobani.

The ISIL terrorists, who currently control parts of Syria and Iraq, have committed terrible atrocities in both countries, including mass executions and the beheading of local residents as well as foreign nationals.
