The full text of the statement is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Since last days of the month of Safar and while all Shiites around the world were holding wonderful mourning ceremonies for the Ahlul Bayt (AS) we have seen too many tragedies and sufferings of Shiites in different countries, like what was happened on Saturday (December 12) and lots of Ahlul Bayt followers were killed by Nigerian army, and like what happened in Azerbaijan's Nardaran and security forces killed and injured a group of Shiite mourners, and also like what happened in Pakistan's Parachinar on Sunday (December 13) when an extremist terrorist group killed dozens of Shiites.

Religious violence and extremism has become a tool, for a long time, in the hands of imperialists and especially Great Britain, United States and international Zionism for achieving their goals in the region. For this, what is going on in the countries like Syria, Bahrain, Iraq and Yemen and in these days in Azerbaiejan, Pakistan and Nigeria is something that these arrogant powers were seeking for according to one of the oldest dirty tactic of 'divide and rule' which has been always used by Britannia and United States in the turbulent Middle East.

Today also these evil and anti-human powers are raging religious and sectarian violence against innocent people all around the world by raising and supporting a bunch of ignorant, deluded and insane people under the name of Takfir groups (ISIS). Therefore, now we see how they are killing innocent people under the flag of religion and destroying infrastructure of the countries in the region.

Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly, in terms of its divine duty, condemns these criminal and terrorist acts and also urges all personalities, heads of Islamic countries, institutions, NGOs, scholars, lawyers, international and human rights organizations and the United Nations and its Secretary-General to severely condemn these attacks and take preventive measures to prevent these authoritarian governments from doing their anti-human and violent encounters and help people in their countries to get full benefit from citizenship rights and legal privileges of their own.

We also demand that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to immediately hold a meeting for the foreign ministers of the member countries to can quickly prevent these heinous and inhuman acts from being happened in the future.
