ALGIERS (Reuters) - Sonatrach and a consortium led by Total will invest between $1.5 and $2 billion in Algeria's Ahnet gas permit between now and 2014, Algerian energy official Djilali Takhrist said on Sunday.
At a ceremony to sign the contract to develop the permit, Total's Chief Executive, Christophe De Margerie, said that the Ahnet concession "contains a lot of reserves."
