Tunis — Mr. Mohamed Ghannouchi, the Prime Minister received on Thursday Mr. Adoum Gargoum, Cameroon's President Special.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Gargoum said he was carrying "a written message from President Paul Biya to President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali." He also said that his visit to Tunisia is part of the strengthening of the friendly ties of cooperation with Tunisia, "the first commercial partner of Cameroon," he added.

"An emergent and exemplary country, Tunisia is a sister country with which Cameroon is keeping up excellent relations", he said, adding that it is necessary to always forge ahead on the way of reinforcing and preserving these very strong ties." The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Cameroon in Tunis.
