A blind talent show would be held in West African nation Ghana to help unearth the potentials of the visually impaired.
Audition for the show begins August and would be held in October in the capital Accra.
According to the CEO of Spring Consult Ghana Offei Afari, the show is to improve the economic status and create livelihood for the blind through gainful employment.
Conditions of the physically impaired in Africa in general are deplorable. Most of them end up on the principal streets as beggars.
He appealed to government, organizations and individuals for assistance to the physically challenged in efforts to take them away from the streets and eliminate problems associated with their predicaments.
