Tehran, Aug 21, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that speed of country’s scientific progress, especially in the field of health and treatment is incredible.

In a meeting with a group of academics on Saturday afternoon, in which ministers of Sciences and Technology, Health, Treatment and Medical Education were present, the president added that Iranian society is now witnessing tremendous scientific progress in all fields.
Referring to Iran’s experiences in the history, especially after the Islamic Revolution, Ahmadinejad said that the biggest obstacle in the way of human progress is the arrogant powers in the world.
He pointed out that the hegemonic powers had never been such influential and powerful in the whole history and if such powers can be defeated, there would be no obstacle in the way of human beings to reach the peaks of progress.
He added that human vigilance and justice seeking had never been so strong in the history, and now we can see that these ideals are as powerful in the whole world as they are in Iran.
