West African nation and four-time African champions Ghana are in talks with their colonial masters England for possible international friendly match come March 2011. The Black Stars and the Three Lions have never met at senior level before and it would be historic if the deal goes through.
“Yes it true we’re talking with England to play their national team but we haven’t finished the details yet as we look to engage them in March hopefully,” Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi disclosed in a statement.
“It is a real possibility, but let us wait and see how it goes and we’ll inform you if it’s concluded.”
