eports indicated that there is a dispute between president sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmed and the Speaker Sharif Hassan Aden over approval on new premier.

"The parliamentarians meeting to approval PM was cancelled by the speaker for reason that there is a misunderstanding between the speaker and the president," said one of the lawmakers.

Lawmakers say a extending divide between Sharif and the speaker, who deputises for the president when he is incapacitated, and said the postponement was only a delaying tactic.

"Our agenda is not opposing newly premier but to use what our constitution reads--to use votes secretly," Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame, one of pro-speaker said.

On the other hand, approximately 250 MP's supporting president Sharif for endorsing Farmajo claiming to vote openly.

President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed last week appointed U.S.-educated former diplomat Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed also known as Farmajo to lead his government after the previous premier quit but still no yet, approval.

Somali interim government is expected to hold presidential elections before August 2011 but the ongoing anti-government insurgency, the humanitarian crises, and the overall environment of insecurity and instability pose major challenges.
