Tunisia and Libya over the weekend signed an executive cooperation programme in Tunis in the domain of health, Tripoli post said.

The signing ceremony was held at the close of two days of joint technical group proceedings in the two countries.

The programme is part of a memorandum of understanding in the domain of health signed in September 2009 between the Tunisian ministry of Public Health and the secretariat of the Libyan general people's committee for Health and Environment.

The programme will focus on the registration of medicines and companies producing medicines, the promotion of joint investments in the domain of the production of vaccines and serums, in collaboration with the Pasteur Institute of Paris.
