Morocco : Five Israelis injured in accident

Five Israelis - four tourists and a guide - were hurt in an accident in Morocco after a moving tour bus they were sitting in hit a passing truck near the city of Marrakesh - southwestern Morocco.

The injured Israelis were evacuated to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.

According to reports quoted on IDF Radio, one of the Israelis was seriously hurt and the rest are suffering from broken bones and are in light to moderate condition.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said that it was monitoring the situation and was in touch with various bodies in Morocco and Israel that were close to the situation.

The tourists were on an organized tour for employees of an Israeli firm, and were travelling in two buses.
