At least 20 people have reportedly been killed and more than 33 others seriously injured after a heavy clash between the Government Troops and the insurgent group of Al-Shabaab has erupted in the capital of Mogadishu according to local media.
Report says that the militants have promised that they will continue the fighting against the Government of Somalia unless the African Union troops withdraw the country.
The Al-Qaeda linked Group of Al-Shabaab controls most of southern and central Somalia and imposed Islamic sheria law.
Somalia has been without an effective central Government since 1991 when the former regime led by General Siyad Barre was overthrown by warlords.
