TUNIS, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- The European Union decided on Friday to freeze the assets of 46 relatives of former president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, as well as those of his wife, Leila Trabelsi, the official press agency TAP reported on Friday.
On Monday, the European Union agreed to freeze the assets of the ousted president and his wife.
The move comes after the Tunisian caretaker government handed the list of people involved in illegal possession of foreign banks accounts and acquisition of property abroad to EU authorities in Brussels on Wednesday.
