CAIRO, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- A committee will be set up in Egypt to investigate in riots events that took place between anti- government protestors and pro-Mubarak Egyptians on Wednesday, announced state news agency MENA.
According to the agency, the president held meetings with leaders of legislative and executive entities to follow up in the recent developments of the Egyptian crisis.
Mass protests erupted across Egypt on Jan.25 when tens of thousands of the Egyptians stormed streets protesting against the current regime and urging an end of President Hosni Mubarak's 30- year rule.
Clashes erupted between supporters of Mubarak and the protestors last Wednesday, leaving 11 dead and nearly 900 injured.
