TUNIS, March 5 (Xinhua) -- The UN is willing to help Tunisia organize the elections of the country's first Constituent Assembly due on July 24, UN Secretary General's special envoy Jamel Amor said Saturday, official TAP news agency reported.
The UN could provide experience and know-how in organizing the forthcoming elections in Tunisia, the special envoy said after meeting with Tunisian Justice Minister Lazhar Karoui Chebbi.
Jamel Amor, leading a UN delegation, arrived in Tunisia to assess the North African country's needs in organizing free and transparent elections.
