TUNIS, March 12 (Xinhua) -- A court in Tunis has requested the arrest of three former officials working for ousted president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, reported the Tunisian official press agency, TAP on Saturday.
Two former prominent presidential advisors and the speaker of the chamber of advisors, respectively, Abdelaziz Ben Dhia, Abdelwahab Abdallah and Abdallah Kallel, were arrested on charges of money laundering, wrongdoing and embezzlement.
The procedure is part of a legal action against certain members of the former ruling party, RCD, which was disbanded earlier this week by a court in Tunis.
