20110325 Reuters UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - France has circulated a draft resolution to the U.N. Security Council that would impose sanctions on Ivory Coast's incumbent leader Laurent Gbagbo and his inner circle, Paris' U.N. envoy said on Friday.
The 15-nation council is expected to discuss the draft resolution in detail next week, French Ambassador Gerard Araud told reporters after a closed-door Security Council meeting on Ivory Coast. It was not immediately clear when the draft resolution could be put to a vote.
