Luanda – The prime minister of São Tomé and Príncipe, Patrice Emery Trovoada, Wednesday in Luanda, welcomed the state of institutional and business cooperation between the two countries, Angop learned.

Speaking to the press on arrival in Luanda, for a second visit to Angola in his capacity as head of São Tome Government, Patrice Trovoada, said he has come for consultations and an assessment of the relations between the two countries.

He said his Government has been working with Angola in the domains of infrastructures,
ports, airports and air connections and oil.

At institutional level, he mentioned the visit to Angola of several ministers of São Tome for an
exchange of experience and the trip of Angolan Foreign minister, George Chicoty, to his
country.

Angola and São Tome enjoy cooperation in such other sectors as defence, security, oil
agriculture and social communication.

The São Tome prime minister, Patrice Emery Trovoada, arrived Wednesday in Luanda for a
two-day visit meant for reinforcement of cooperation between the two countries.

At the Luanda 4 de Fevereiro International Airport that official was welcomed by Angola's
Foreign Affairs Minister, George Chicoty, the deputy governors of Luanda, Carla Leitão and
Juvelina Imperial, as well as members of his country mission to Angola.

The visiting official is being accompanied by the Foreign Affairs minister, Manuel Salvador do Ramo, and the general secretary of his government, António da Graça.

According to the programme of the visit that reached Angop, Patrice Trovoada will be
received in audience by Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, while ministerial
delegations from both countries will hold official talks.
