Burkina Faso will host African Cup of Nations co-hosts Gabon in a pre-tournament friendly on January 9 in Franceville, the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) announced Saturday.


The match will be held at the Stade de la Renovation in Gabon, which will host all group D matches during the January 21-February 12 tournament.

Burkina Faso will play their first round matches in Equatorial Guinea, co-hosts of the tournament, in group B with Angola, Ivory Coast and Sudan.
