Fighting against the new regime in Libya, which is backed by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), represents an honorable right issue. It is not just an internal struggle, but it is a sort of jihad against the hegemony of neo-colonialism over the country of the martyrs and the homeland of Omar al-Mukhtar.
Gaddafi today is a history, and only history is going to judge him. However, we can say without hesitation or fear that the man worked hard and tried as much as he can to make the word of the Arab nation supreme for many years before he falls back and lowers his head in front of the American tornado, and after he lost the hope of gaining the support of “any brother”.
Despite the fact that the man’s justifications were not at the same level of his concessions to the West and to America in particular, but - comparing to the agents of colonialism from the Gulf States and his rivals who killed him- they remain the best and have honor more than those. He will remain to be a beacon in the eyes of many Libyan people who were born and grew up under his leadership, which was not entirely worse as claimed by some clowns and the writer’s of the time.
Today, Libya is mourning a commander who gave his people much more than what any Arab leader has given. He gave the Arabs, Palestine, and the liberation movements in the whole world more than what have been given by any leader and/or any country. If he surrendered since the beginning of his success in the revolution on Idris al-Sanusi to the logic of his own interests, he could have been today a national hero in the eyes of those media. He could have also been protected and supported by all those who have called for banning the flights over the Libyan Arab Republic and killed through passing the Security Council resolution thousands of Libyans by the barbaric unprecedented bombing of the Libyan sites and cities.
“The fall of Gaddafi and his death will not solve the Libyan problem, and who was fighting in order to defend him will stop doing so. Therefore, the NATO rebels will be unable to claim later that the remnants of Gaddafi and his battalions are fighting them, but the Libyan people through their revolutionary vanguards will be engaged soon in fighting for the liberation of Libya from the dominance of the NATO and its agents”.
Today, those are dancing enjoying the death of their leader, who made him with their blind obedience and cruelty reach to the extent of believing that he is a prophet or a demigod, and that he could not be harmed or killed. Now, who is next, for he will not be better in any case? Most likely, he will be a puppet in the hands of colonialism, and what we see of the manifestations of aggrandizement of some members of the Transitional Council is completely as decorating a cow before slaughtering it.
Libya is facing a dangerous intersection, and blood does not come but only by blood. Bloodshed was heavily found in Libya as their great river that was built by Gaddafi and the sweat of the people. Today, after the partition of the oil of Libya by rates that are already declared and known, how could those agents justify all this ruin and bloodshed, and for what? Is Libya now better after the death of Colonel Gaddafi by the agents of the NATO and the cronies of Benghazi?
The killing of Gaddafi in such a brutal way and abusing his body, as the agents of America did with Saddam Hussein and his sons, would not lead but only to hatred and to revenge. The murder and torture practiced by the rebels of the NATO in Sirte and Bani Walid will remain a nightmare that scares everyone involved in those crimes. As they say, time turns and no one stays on his chair or has the same rank ever. History and the realities of the conflict on Libya and its oil will reveal that everything that happened was really a conspiracy, in which certain Arab countries were involved, those who were themselves conspiring against the Arab leader Gamal Abdel Nasser, 45 years ago.
Libya and the Libyan people deserve honest, dedicated, kind hearted leaders, who seek to heal and treat the wounds, and not men who care only about power and money, who are villain and scoundrels and never feel ashamed of welcoming Hillary Clinton and brat leaders like Sarkozy and others. The Libyans need today someone who unites their word, and brings their tribes together. The news that we heard about the slaughter of families and homes in Sirte and in other cities does not indicate that the Libyans will have figures like those adults whom we want to assume power in the country and to lead the people.
However, we trust in the sense of Jihad that the people there have and we trust in the rationality of the country’s leaders who understand that nationality does not only mean maintaining the home from the external interference and influence in any way, in any manner, and in any field whatsoever.
Colonel Gaddafi is dead. May Allah’s mercy be upon him, and upon those who fell on the soil of the dear Libya, whether his sons or others who fought in order to defend the independence of the Libyan decision away from the NATO and against it and its agents. May they all rest in peace, and we hope that Libya will live a life of abundance and peace.
